On October 24, 2024 we joined together for an evening of good food, great music, and community at the Sheet Metal Worker's Union Hall. We raised $18,000 towards our goal, putting us in an excellent position to continue to fund scholarships in the coming year to graduates of Proviso East, Proviso West, and Proviso Math and Science Academy who are heading into the trades or two or 4-year degree programs. We want to thank our Great Chefs and Beverage Artisans once again and encourage you to visit them all and mention that you saw them at Great Chefs: Bailey's Catering, Burger Antics, Casa Humilde, Couture Kitchen, Drop Needle, Funkytown, Habrae, Jimmy's Place, Kribi Coffee, Petra Falafel, Submarine Tender & Twisted Cookie.

We also want to recognize our organizational partners: Real Foods Collective (who also served as a Great Chef), Best of Proviso Township, 501c3, whose Randall McFarland served as a co-MC with board member Jeremy Horn, Kiwanis Club of Forest Park, The Answer Inc whose Debra Vines was on our planning committee and also helped with the auction and heads-or-tails game.

Rashada Dawan's music brought the house down, and we encourage you to check her out whenever and wherever she performs!
